Before installation
it is important that you are aware of the following points.
1) The floor is clean
and dry
2) The building is secure, i.e. can be locked
3) The Damp Proof course has been laid
4) The insulation has been laid
5) The plumbing first fix has been installed
6) The walls are tracked for the underfloor sensor.
7) If you are using a Vacuum system, ensure that is has been fitted
The MAGMA
control system
The MAGMA control system is one of the most advanced systems available
in the underfloor heating market with dual controls on both the wall and
floor. This provides you with the ability to achieve optimum savings on
running costs and the ultimate comfort level you desire.
How the
MAGMA system works in your home or building?
The thermostatic controls MAGMA underfloor heating systems use have provide
you with dual control. The floor sensor compliments the thermostat positioned
on the wall providing you with the ability control every zone or room
individually so that there is no need for your rooms to be heated when
not in use.
By setting the time
clock each zone can be put on at the desired time, i.e. you may wish to
have your living area coming on at 4:30 for you coming home from work
with your bedrooms not coming on until 9:30p.m. When used in commercial
settings your building can be set to come on at an earlier time than the
offices or showroom in order to facilitate working hours.
Your thermostats
can be turned up or down as required by simply turning the dial in each
room. Each of these thermostats has a minimum and maximum temperature
setting thereby maintaining a minimum floor temperature.
Once commissioned
and switched on, the MAGMA underfloor heating system holds the floor at a constant
state of readiness ensuring that each time your heating system is put
off and on again the floor will still reach a comfortable level of heat
within 60minutes.
The manifolds and
time clock are usually positioned in a utility room or under the stairs.
Once the MAGMA underfloor
heating system is installed and the time clock has been set you literally
have a 'fit and forget' heating solution.
